The problem we are trying to fix
Getting a plastering quote is worse than it should be. You describe a cracked ceiling over the phone to someone who cannot see it. They give you a rough figure with a lot of caveats, or they say they will come and look and then do not. You do it three times, get three numbers that are not comparable, and pick more or less at random.
Meanwhile the plasterer has their own version of the same problem: enquiries with no postcode, no photos, no idea of scale, from people who are ringing round for a ballpark and were never going to book. Driving forty minutes to look at a job that turns out to be a one-metre patch is not a business model.
Photos fix a surprising amount of that. Not everything — plenty of jobs still need someone standing in the room — but enough to make the first conversation useful instead of a guessing game.
What we built
A form that takes about a minute, asks one thing at a time, works properly on a phone, accepts photos straight from the camera, and does not demand your full address or make you calculate square metres before it will talk to you. It tells you honestly whether your postcode is covered. It sends you a copy of everything, immediately, with a reference.
Then the enquiry goes to up to 3 independent plastering businesses that genuinely cover your area — the whole process is written out here.
Where we are honest about being new
This service launched recently. There is no gallery of completed jobs on this site because we have not completed a hundred jobs. There are no reviews because we have not earned any yet. There is no "average response time: 42 minutes" badge because we have not measured one, and inventing a number is a promise you get caught missing on a Sunday afternoon.
All of those things will appear on this site as they become true, with dates and sources attached. Until then, the empty spaces stay empty. That is a deliberate choice and we would rather be judged on it than on a stock photo of a smiling man holding a trowel.

We are an enquiry service, not a plastering contractor. We do not carry out work, we do not subcontract work, and we do not take contractual responsibility for work carried out by the independent businesses an enquiry is matched with. Your contract for any work is with them.
The one thing we hold ourselves to
Every valid enquiry gets an immediate acknowledgement and a clearly owned next action. Not a promise about how fast a plasterer will ring — we do not control that — but a guarantee that your enquiry is not sitting in a mailbox nobody reads, and that you can always find out where it got to by replying to the email.
If that ever stops being true, tell us. It is the whole point of the thing.
